Shizuoka University Faculty of Global Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation menu JPN Home About Outline Dean’s Message Addressing the Sets of Future Challenges Three Courses Our Faculty Education Educational Features Curriculum Study abroad Fieldwork Learning Advisor Career Curriculum The Faculty has established the courses, Interdisciplinary Science Courses, Humanities and Social Science Courses, Natural Science Courses, and Major Field Courses in order to nurture capable individuals who carry a wide array of perspectives. The subjects are arranged in a well-balanced way where students can acquire a range of knowledge from basic all the way to specialized. In addition, Global Courses and Data Science Courses have been established in order to cultivate skills necessary for examining social issues accurately and solving these problems in collaboration with all kinds of people. To reiterate, the curriculum is designed to fortify a good balance of basic knowledge, specialized knowledge, and collaboration methods.
